The Great Controversy. Ellen G. White

The conflict of the centuries contains the history of the great controversy between Christ and Satan until the total extermination of the latter. It begins with the destruction of Jerusalem; it continues with the persecutions of Christians in the Roman Empire, the medieval apostasy, the brilliant light of the Reformation, and the worldwide religious awakening of the 19th century. His sharp reading ventures into the future, into the second coming of Christ and the glories of the new earth. As the end approaches, loyalty to God will become a vital and decisive issue. In this concluding volume, the author powerfully points out the principles involved in the coming conflict; furthermore, she threads together how each person can stand firm for God and His truth.
